Honda Brio Launch Date
Honda has announced that they are going to officially launch Honda Brio in India on 27th September 2011.
This new hatchback is built on 2CV concept. The exterior of Honda Brio holds some real attractive and bold crease lines along with a forward inclined stance. The company has taken many steps to make it a vibrant model; one can choose the color option from palate of exciting colors.

The most striking and identifiable part of this car is its rear view. Honda Brio is designed beautifully at the rear with back lights mounted at the lower end and a large part is made in glass. Such design is never seen on Indian roads. The use of excess glass at rear has made the looks of this car really amazing and attractive. The little detailing at the rear is again admirable from back. Soon to launch Honda Brio comes powered by 1.2-litre Honda Jazz engine which at later stage might also get 1 litre motor. The displacement offered by Honda Brio is 1198 cc making it a real performance oriented hatchback in India. The engine used in Honda Brio runs o petrol and smoke out a top power of 89 Bhp at 6200 rpm and beating torque of 110 Nm at 4800 rpm.

The overall length of Honda Brio is kept smart at 3.6 meters which also assures good space in the cockpit along with a decent boot space. The handling of this car will surely be interesting and smooth as was seen in the sister model, Honda Jazz.

With all these features, Honda Brio will have a straight competition with the likes of Maruti Swift, Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai i20 and Toyota Etios Liva.

Honda Brio Engine Capacity, Power and Performance
The Already gaining attention, Honda Brio is power packed with the same technology as Jazz, loaded with superior 1.2 l VTEC Petrol Engine with a displacement of 1197 cc which is very much impressive. The four cylinder engine based on the Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control which is very much common with other cars from the company such as Jazz is indeed a power house of superb performance and credibility. The Volumetric Efficiency and combustion is hence expected to enhance further more with the coming of the Brio. Also there is much of expectation from the company releasing another engine with more capacity for Brio in the near future.

Honda Brio Interiors and Features
Though compact and a bit tiny but Honda Brio still matches excellence in craftsmanship with the overall packaging of the car being very thoughtful. The Cabin has enough space for four people to sit in and relax with comfort; however trying comfort with three people at the rear would definitely be difficult. The Car has a good comfortable legroom with ample headroom as well. The Only thing that looks a bit too odd is that the car appears to be too small from inside with the width being somewhat less. The Sets are beautifully designed with thin backrests giving minimal occupied space and hence increasing the space for the passenger. The Scooped out glove box also occupies less space and increases the legroom somewhat. The Door pads utilized are minimalistic as well. Yielding plenty of space with not even a single aspect to have compromised, the car is definitely well made.
However there are several other issues that count in the cost cutting including the lack of adjustable headrests, only a pane rear glass used instead of a real hatch and the lack of a wiper and defogger at the back. Well each time you have something negative, there is indeed a positive aspect to compensate and here is one with the trendy and sporty steering of Honda Brio that is nice to hold and the attractive hooded dials with the gauges that look beautiful and well illuminated. Moreover, the dashboard is beautiful and the mouldings are nice together with the instrument panel well in place. The armrests are quite comfortable, the gear knob, body colored mirrors, the in-built audio system with USB support and the super cool AC of the car are some truly brilliant features.

Honda Brio Exteriors and Features
As already mentioned, the all new Honda Brio has been excellently designed with a unique sculpture in place and looks simply eye catching from the rear with an all glass stalk. The Car has excellent aerodynamics and cuts through the air with a firm and swift manner. The Front of the Honda Brio looks equally elegant and beautiful with the chrome strip and grille featuring the company logo at the centre. The Shoulder line of the vehicle is very attractive and the C- pillar gives a unique flow towards the front edge and the top. The Overall look of the headlamps and the tail lamps both look quite aggressive. The Brio gives a sturdy and bold look which is very much common with other cars from the Honda. With excellent side windings and somewhat taller pillar, Honda has also managed to differentiate the car from the sumptuous design of Jazz and that too with an ease as it can be seen.
