Bajaj Avenger 220:
India’s one of the leading two-wheeler maker, Bajaj Auto has recently launched an another higher capacity version of its cruiser bike, Bajaj Avenger in the market with the massive 220cc engine and impressive features which makes it very attractive cruiser motorcycle in the Indian auto market. Bajaj Avenger 220 refreshed version of its old horse, Bajaj Avenger. The new version of the This cruiser bike with 220cc engine that is being used in Bajaj Pulsar 220. The new bike model has a very similar looks of previous model.

If the Avenger 180 was supposed to make you “Feel Like God”, will the brand new 220cc model make you feel like Zeus? Well, let’s see.

Design:

In this department, the Avenger is identical to the older 180cc and 200cc models. The heavyset cruiser styling is a sight for sore eyes, with a rounded  headlamp and indicators.

The front wind shield adds a stylish touch to the bike, as do the steel-chrome finishing and soft leather saddle seat.

The Avenger comes in for different colours, Plasma Blue, Cocktail Wine Red, Mist Grey Silver and Midnight Black.

Features:
After what seems like ages, Bajaj has added the Auto Cancellation indicator switches to the Avenger, and the electric start won’t let you worry about using the kick such a low slung bike.

A nice little feature is the addition of the Low Battery indicator, letting you know well beforehand when to get the battery charged.

Performance and safety:
The 220cc oil cooled engine, borrowed from the Pulsar ‘Streetfighter’ 220, delivers an amazing 19bhp. With a torque of 17.5 @ 7000rpm, the Avenger is quick to get off it’s mark.

It does this at a mileage of about  40 kmpl, which is pretty good for a power bike.

The Avenger comes with front telescopic and rear hydraulic suspension, as well as a front disc and rear drum brake, making it a comfortable yet safe ride.
