Chevrolet Aveo
Worlds largest auto manufacturer, General Motors has launched Chevrolet Aveo in Indian auto market in mid-sized sedan segment. Chevrolet Aveo is available in Indian market only with petrol engine engine options but it is available with two different capacity engines. Chevrolet Aveo provides complete statement of reliability and efficiency. Safety features like tailor welded blanks, high- strength steel structure, B-pillar, height adjustable safety belt anchors, rear child safety door locks, front safety belt pretensioners etc really confirm the security of the passenger. Chevrolet Aveo is a stylish sedan model and after the launch it compete with other sedans of this segment like Maruti Swift Dzire, Fiat Linea, Ford Ikon and Ford Fiesta.
The design and styling of the Indian Chevrolet Aveo is based on the Daewoo Kalos. The most impressive thing about current GM cars seem to be the profile, like the Optra, the Vectra and so on; the Aveo is no exception, the profile is amongst the most pleasing I have come across thanks to the sloping roof and a well integrated C pillar. The Air conditioning on this car is top notch and one thing is especially noticed was the noise insulation; it almost cuts out the rest of the world as soon as you push all those windows up. The mirrors fold both ways, could come in handy if you are bit poor at reversing. Internal electric adjust is available in the top end model; but electric retract still isn’t.
Chevrolet Aveo is available with two different capacities petrol engine that delivers different level of engine performance, power and fuel efficiency. The first engine option is a 1.4L, 1399cc 16 valve, 4-Cylinder In-line petrol engine, with MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection) fuel injection system that produces 94PS of maximum power and 128Nm of maximum torque. Second one is the 1.6L, 1598cc, 16 Valve, 4-Cylinder, In-line petrol engine with MPFI fuel injection system and with five speed manual transmission gearbox and it delivers 102PS of maximum power with 149Nm of maximum torque. Two variants of Chevrolet Aveo are powered by this high performance engine.
Chevrolet Aveo 1.4LS     It is the base variant of Chevrolet Aveo that comes without few safety and luxury features like – ABS, EBD, CD Player, Alloy Wheels etc.
Chevrolet Aveo 1.4 CNG     This variant is equipped with the same features as per the previous one only the additional feature is CNG kit.
Chevrolet Aveo 1.4LT     This variant offers some additional features like Body Colored ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), Chrome Outside Door Handles, Leather Upholstery, Wooden Finish Interiors, Audio System with Six Speakers, Driver Airbags, etc.
Chevrolet Aveo 1.4LT ABS     This variant offers same features that Chevrolet Aveo 1.4LT offers only ABS (Antilock Brake System) is the additional feature.
Chevrolet Aveo 1.6LT Option Pack
It is the top end variant of Chevrolet Aveo. This variant offers same features that Chevrolet Aveo 1.4LT ABS offers only the difference is that it is equipped with more powerful engine.

Mileage, Average and Fuel Economy
Chevrolet Aveo is available with two different capacity engine options that delivers different level of engine performance and mileage. Chevrolet Aveo is available with a 1.4L and a 1.6L petrol engine – its 1.4L, 1399cc 16 valve, 4-Cylinder In-line petrol engine, with MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection) fuel injection system which enhances the fuel efficiency of this car so that it delivers mileage 10.2kmpl in city while on highway it delivers 14.9kmpl. On the other hand its more powerful engine a 1.6L, 1598cc, 16 Valve, 4-Cylinder, In-line petrol engine with MPFI fuel injection system delivers more power but bit lower fuel efficiency. This variant of Chevrolet Aveo delivers mileage 9.8kmpl in urban traffic while on highway it gives mileage 14.4kmpl.

Exterior Appearance
Chevrolet Aveo is an stylish sedan model that offers attractive front, side and rear exterior appearance. Its aggressive chrome finished front grille, sporty headlamps, body colored bumpers makes its front appearance very aggressive. Its body colored grip type outside door handles, full wheel covers, body colored ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) makes the side view of car very stylish. Rear spoiler, large tail-lamps, chrome finished trunk-lid garnish makes the rear view of Chevrolet Aveo also much attractive.

First one is the 1.4L, 1399cc, In-line petrol engine, with MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection) fuel injection system that can produce 94PS of maximum power at 6200rpm with 128Nm of maximum torque at 3500rpm and delivers good engine  performance and acceleration. Second engine option for Chevrolet Aveo is a 1.6L, 1598cc, In-line petrol engine with MPFI fuel injection system that can produce 102PS of maximum power at 5800rpm with 149Nm of maximum torque at 4000rpm and delivers more power and better engine performance in comparison to previous variant.
